Gloucester County -Westville/Deptford PD TGID 305

As far as I know all law enforcement in Glouceter County is encrypted. In the past week the Westville/Deptford talk group (TGID 305) trips the scanner and the transmission is encrypted/garbled. My question is what has changed? Never have picked up any type of transmission prior to this week. Not sure why it's happening now.

I believe what the firmware update with that scanner it will mute encrypted audio and yes all LE IS ENCRYPTED in Gloucester county nj

Also you can hit a avoid any encrypted radio channels on your scanner

Oh, I know that. Was just wondering why it's showing up recently when it didn't before since I've not made any changes to my settings.

True and it has muted in the past. Just recently has it showed up and not sure what may have changed.
