One of the Terre Haute repeaters is going to change freq and tone due to a user continuously broadcasting the Counties SAFE-T broadcasts over the GMRS system. Issue has been reported to the SO, and FCC with the users info and recordings of the malicious broadcasting. Hopefully this doesn't make THPD and VCSO go back to full time E again.

I don't understand the reason for A) contacting the local Sheriff's Office, and B) posting this here. No good will come from tipping your hand before the FCC actually takes up the matter, and arrives in town.

I don't follow VCSO nor THPD. I had no idea they went from full E to not using full E!

I don't think the Sheriff was ever encrypted. THPD used ProVoice on the old EDACS way back when before there were ProVoice scanners. Then they were dispatching on one of their encrypted tac channels instead of using their unencrypted dispatch channel.

Correct, at least this incident has not made them go back to those E TGs. But now after this and them having to do a 25 foot law arrest....

Tell that to every news media outlet in the state that reported it, and is now sueing the state of IN.
That happened in Lawrence, IN; not Vigo county. The Marion county prosecutor dropped those charges also.
