P25 systems automatically send the bandplan out over the control channel.

I'm pretty sure the values that you see in those fields are not used.

I'll check mine next time I'm in range of the system.

That is what Paul O said as well. The settings are ignored.

Just an update. I think something was changed with the Mitchell Corners Tower. The signal does seem weaker then it used to be. As I travel west bound on the 401, I loose it at Whitby-Ajax and then get the Uxbridge 104 tower, when I usually have it till Port Union and then right into the CN Tower.

At anytime, if I reprogram the GO Transit system on the 396T, I will not get them at all till I hit any tower other than Mitchell Corners. As soon as hit the Uxbridge or the CN tower, they start coming in and afterwords Mitchell Corners works. I can update or reprgram any other system, as long as I leave GO transit alone, it is fine. Soon as I make a change on the system, I loose them till I hit other tower.

Very strange.. It does also seem that the Mitchell Corners tower does have a higher error rates too. not much, but a bit higer then the other towers.
