Going stupidly old school

Afternoon everyone,
I've been away from radio activities for a good while although there are 4 scanners running all the time around here. I rediscovered an old scanner the other day and would like to get it operational if possible. It's and old Bearcat and uses crystals for frequency scanning. It doesn't have anything local and I'd like to find a source for specific frequencies if anyone is actually making them or has some for sale. It doesn't make any practical sense but I want to do it anyway. Anyone know of some sources for crystals? Thanks.

Any of the following: 154.4, 155.745, 155.025, 154.74, 155.895, 159.165, 155.145, 155.01, 154.71, 152.405, 155.715, 155.115, 155.31, 154.830, 155.835, 153.92, 173.286, 153.44. The busiest one around here seems to be 155.895. There are several others in the area including 123.0, 122.8, local aviation unicom frequencies that are active. Our local law enforcement went encrypted a few years back which is truly irritating to me as it is a busy department and listening to the scanner alerted me to a few events I was glad to know about, When you get home from work and nine police cars are in the neighborhood you have to think there may be a problem. I called the non emergency number to find out and they just lied to me. Five minutes on the scanner let me know I needed to make sure the doors were locked and no one was hiding in my back yard. Anyway the unicom frequencies and 155.895 are the ones I'd like most, a total of 8 is plenty. Let me know what you have and what you're asking for them. Thanks.

Unbelievable! Many years ago, I was gifted 2 boxes of assorted scanner crystals, and they've just been gathering dust in my shack. After (finally) sorting through them to get them into some semblance of order, I was able to find just ONE of the ones on your list... 154.71.

Based on my failing memory, I'm fairly sure that this crystal is for a Bearcat scanner (10.8 IF). It's yours for the price of a USPS first-class stamp. Send me your address in a PM.
