Golden Valley

This morning I heard radio techs testing tones for Golden Valley on the Hennepin Fire Main. I thought this was odd since Golden Valley runs their own PSAP. Anyone know of Golden Valley having plans to switch to Hennepin Co Dispatch? I did a search on Google and came up with a couple things from back in 2004 but nothing recent.

it was my understanding they they ran a joint ECC with St. Jewish Park, with SLP being the host... I think alot of cities are going to choose to go with HCSO Tower for their dispatch just for the sake of easier interoperability... Right now, Edina, Eden prairie, Minnetonka, Minneapolis, Richfield, MAC, Metro Transit, St. Louis Park and Bloomington operate their own PSAPs in addition to HCSO Tower...
