How many have found their vehicle on Google Streetview? The street location is off. I unfortunately no longer have this one. I added the antenna descriptions.

I think Google Earth should add antenna notes like this on all vehicles with antennas.

Looked up my ex-wife’s parents’ house in Anaheim, CA and the street photo had my ex getting groceries out of her car. How she didn’t notice the Google Maps vehicle with all the cameras on it driving slowly by, I don’t know.

From what I’ve seen they aren’t usually driving slow. But they do usually say Google on them.

I ran across a Google camera car 7 or 8 years ago making its rounds thru town and followed it for a while. A month or two later that imagery showed up on StreetView and my car was seen in the images. It lasted about 2 or 3 years until the imagery was retaken.

Some years ago a Google car drove down my street while i was standing in the street chatting with a neighbor. I looked at the car as it drove by, very intrigued by the setup on the roof. Sure enuff, when i use Street view at that location, there I am. Fat, dumb and happy..

So one day, I was standing outside my front gate and a Bing mobile cruises by. My dog and I admired the hardware on the car as it passed. I checked my security camera, and sure enough it caught a photo of the Bing mobile. About a month later I found that it caught me too.

Really, what are the odds.

Twice I saw a Jeep Wrangler with the camera on the roof when I was out driving. Funny it was at the same intersection. Two years in a row and it was on streetview the next time they updated. There I was setting behind the wheel, bit blurry. That was a few years ago.
