Got a Pro-106 yesterday

Yeah, picked up mine on Thursday with the F&F coupon.

How stable is it?

I'm not an expert to evaluate these things, but it seems stable enough to me. My last scanner was back in the pre-trunking days.

I programmed the 106 with help from Arc500 and the RadioReference database-- Gwinnett, Forsyth, and North Fulton. No doubt there's tons more to learn, but right now I'm happy with what I'm hearing. Majority of transmissions come in clearly.

Oh, and it's pretty stable standing up on my desk too <grin>.
