I was adding new frequencies in my Pro 96 yesterday and turned it on today and got Heap Error message. The message displays 236C1F :2373. The scanner is locked up. Some help would be appreciated.

I am receiving the error "Heap error 25C425 : 25CB on my whistler 1040 when pushing the pgm button. Any advice on resolving this issue?

If like the other GRE and Radio Shack scanners, a heap error means you have talkgroups without a trunked system.
