HP-1: GPS

Ok, I have read the forums.. and started off mildly confused but now am really lost.
So, I will state it as simply as possible.

I have a HP-1.
I also have a uniden puck scanner.

I would like them to meet one another and do good things.

I have enclosed a picture.
Clearly the Puck's connector doesn't fit the scanner. (Uniden on Uniden??)
I need an adapter, but can anyone link me the exact adapter?
Also, I keep reading about Cig Lighter adapters.
It appears my puck doesn't need external power?
Any thoughts on how to make these work together will be much appreciated.

The cable you need will mate with your puck and have a leg that goes to a cigarette lighter plug and the other leg will go to your scanner. Sorry, I don't know the model number.

You are missing the wiring harness for the GPS puck. It has a cigarette-power adapter and a DB9 (9-pin) connector. We also now include an adapter that goes from 9-pin to the small 4-pin plug used on the HP-1.

We do not currently have that cable set in stock. I've asked our parts specialist to advise on lead time for getting them.
