I'll try to confirm that today when I get home. I heard Grady So on their regular 155.640 repeater last Saturday when I was in Binger. That's great news!

I have been listening to Grady Co. some when mobile with my 8800. Here in town and around Yukon. On the VHF frequency.

It's entirely possible that someone said; "here, put this radio in your dispatch center," and handed them a shiny new XTL5000 - And it's the onlyest radio they have.

Yeah that's what happened to some of the smaller towns with comm centers here in Tulsa County. I guess it's better then nothing.

yeah theyve got the still somewhat new jail and dispatch center, and with chickasha pd being 800 its even more likely. Or he could have just grabbed the wrong mike. Of course I know some people who do stuff just to see if it will be posted on here, I guess some are just easily entertained. Ill ask around and see if anyone knows one way or the other.
