Rumney call signs are in the 1700's. For example the Rumney police chief is 1701.

Also, Bridgewater public safety is dispatched by Plymouth. Their call signs are in the 19-00's.

Bridgewater really isn't on the air that much. I guess because it is a small community. All I ever really hear is their chief (19-01) and a couple of their part-timers (19-30's)

Sorry for the confusion. Rumeny was dispatch by Plymouth in the past. When Grafton County Sherrif's upgraded to digital APCO-25 Rumney switched over to Grafton. They did this because they could get better radio coverage under the Grafton County digital signal (any one who has worked out in that area knows how sketchy radio coverage can be analog or digital).

When Rumney was dispatched by Plymouth analog years ago they operated under the 17-00 call signs. When they switched to the new Grafton County Digital channel they just kept their old calls signs they used with Plymouth.

So, Rumney is currently dispatched by Grafton County using the 17-00 call signs.

I hope that cleared up the confusion, or maybe it just made it more so :)

Also, I hear that Rumney is interested in coming back to Plymouth dispatch since Plymouth has now gone digital.

The P25 is Sucking them right in, i bet with the Plymouth PD there is less radio Traffic, but on the GCSO System, you can only hear operations on that Repeater, like South East is in Plymouth, South West is in Hanove, and The North is in Franconia

Missing from the List is Lisbon PD. They also have their own channel which is analog - i believe this is the only one GCSO dispatches that isn't P25. 154.980.

Also, Lisbon PD call signs are 5-0, 5-1, 5-2, 5-3, and so on. I don't think they have more then 6 officers. Part time officers use a call sign with a letter attached to it. i.e. 5-4-G

Littleton PD's call signs are 4-9

i.e. 4-9-1, 4-9-4, 4-9-5 etc.

LPD7 is correct. The GCSO repeater system is spread throughtout the county so depending where you are, you'll hear different units. The locations are:

A repeater - Cannon mountain, Franconia
B repeater - Moose mountain, Hanover
C repeater - Tenney mountain, Groton NH

* pic of the cannon repeater. GCSO shares this tower with a number of other agencies such as Troop F and Twin State Fire link to name a few

Grafton County Sheriff (154.7700R P25)

Lebanon Police Dispatch (155.7075R P25)
Canaan Police
Enfield Police

Haverhill Police (155.0400R P25)
Haverhill
Woodsville?????

Lebanon Police (155.2500R P25)
Lebanon Police

Hanover Police (155.5950R P25)
Hanover Police
Plainfield Police

GCSO still has analog capability on the repeaters w/PL136.5 on the repeater outputs, IIRC.

Hanover NH now dispatches for Enfield and Canaan on 155.7075. It's kind of a weird arrangement.
Each has a remote base in their town. Hanover dispatch is connected to each remote base. Lebanon dispatch is also still connected.

Enfield 155.7075 P25 and analog w/PL156.7
Canaan 155.7075 P25 and analog w/PL141.3

Hanover 155.595 simplex (not repeaterized) P25 and analog w/PL141.3. Hanover also has 159.030 (simplex) P25 and analog w/PL141.3.

Plainfield 155.595 (simplex) P25 and analog w/PL141.3, dispatched by Hanover.

The lay of the land in the CT River valley makes Hanover's signal shoot down the valley to Plainfield. Hanover hears Plainfield units better than Lebanon does even though Lebanon is closer. The hills that line the CT River valley in NH get in the way.
