Yes. I found one after finding the 162-174MHz search function on a scanner while finding myself about 75 miles N of the Grand Canyon's North Rim last Friday.

so i made a trip to the canyon yesterday and can verify that they did switch to P25 for 99% of there comms on law and fire for the park

i only heard once the old law freq used during the day

the new freqs follow with all of a nac of 293

170.3875
171.5375
162.1625
169.6375
171.675
169.1625

all seem to be in use at the same time or most of them

they do have a med net freq too

171.650 / nac 293 this is verified as i followed the LE's over to it

and a few misc freqs

168.5 / not used much
171.325 / nac 670 was enc all day that i heard

so theres the rundown as what i found yesterday

enjoy

Grand Canyon frequencies

Thank for the info Jerry, but I cannot figure out what nac 293 is and how to enter it in my BC246T.

The 246T is not a P25 digital radio, so you will not be able to monitor the frequencies reported or program the nac. The 396 would work.

168.5000 is used by the NPS Montezuma Unit (Montezuma Castle, Montezuma Well and Tuzigoot National Monuments) in the Verde Valley. Were you hearing traffic at the Canyon or on the road?

171.3250 was found to be a CBP wide area net frequency.

Were you able to ID the type of traffic on the freqs (LE, Fire, Admin or EMS?) That would help in identifying the usage.

168.5 i heard at the canyon just once so i couldn't tell anymore on that
seems everyone was using the freqs for everything except that one call i heard on med net
was admin LE's and ems on the freqs and didn't seem to be on just certain ones as i tried to follow and search

went back and most were using everything and not one dept was using this one or that one
all freqs seemed to be shared
rumor up there is that everything for the park is going encrypted in the next few months from one person i talked to
also did grab the airport fire dept freq 156.120 didn't get a pl/dpl as its not used much and had an interesting talk with one of the firefighters
they do have a new foam unit for the airport and took lots of pics of that
