154.190 seems to be the one and done channel for the county. Looking to see if there are any fire grounds that aren't in the 800mhz band or any public works VHF channels that are used throughout the islands.

Thanks in advance.

I have had the 800MHz frequencies in my scan list for a couple of years and have never heard/seen any traffic on them. I was just reviewing my scan lists, and have noticed that they are no longer on the RR database. I do believe that I have occasionally heard Grand Isle fire departments on Clinton County's new P25P2 system during large incidents/water rescues (fire ops talk groups, IIRC) involving mutual aid from Clinton County departments across the lake. Otherwise fire/EMS is exclusively 154.190 as far as I can tell.

Almost all of the 800 MHz. equipment has been uninstalled and/or sold off. There might be one repeater left on the air, but it is not used anymore. Everyone has moved back to VHF with the exception of Alburgh Town Highway, who use one of the wide area UHF DTRS (I'm not sure if it's OneVoice or Fleetwave Partners).

Alburgh Fire (36), Alburg Rescue (44) and Isle La Motte Fire (37) are part of the Clinton County (NY) Fire Mutual Aid System, and do have some radios to communicate with Clinton County NY. Included in the programming are department-specific talkgroups, but they aren't used very often, and usually used when operating over in NYS.
