I'm checking with the vendor if they will ship to Canada, I'll let you know the answer.
So far I heard of 4 in Calgary who order these units using a US address.

Ordered mine with my Canadian adress with no problems. Now to see how their warrenty is being in Canada. My scanner up and died on the weekend when i went and changed the batteries. Weird.

It looks like the discount GRE pricing was short lived. Complaints to GRE from other dealers saying this on-line dealer is selling to close to cost.....

Wow so much for American capitalism. You can pick up the GRE 500 and 600 on ebay for $ 449.00 plus shipping and most ship to Canada.

Radio Shack US is suppose to sell the GRE 500 and 600 online starting in September with an Introduction price of $ 399.00

Radio shack started shipping the Pro106 *AKA GRE 500 in a slighty different case* nation wide last week. I don;t have a sku #
The Pro196 AKA GRE 600 is due out later this year or early 2009

The price for the pro106 is all over the map. Already some stores have them on-sale for $449.00 if you apply for a credit card or something stupid like that.

Got my GRE 500

I got my GRE 500 .. from Scanner Master for $499 US. With the Canadian dollar in the toilet .. well it came up to $708 Canadian with shipping. Like can i say OUCH.

I've been warning people about the huge price difference (almost makes it not worth it anymore).
Plus taxes at the border (at minimum GST if not PST as well - if your province has it).

Well enjoy your scanner, use the heck out of it to make it worth the cost. =)

Mine cost me close to 600$ shipped that was when or $ was 1.10 state side.
Also this was only weeks after it came out my radio was like the 1200'th one produced or so the unit number claims.
