GRE PSR 600 Settings

I have attached 2 files for my GRE 600 Scanner. Does anyone know if these settings are correct? I am using Win500 Program. I want the best RX settings.

Not sure if you're asking if those are the default settings or "are these the best settings for me"?

In most cases, the defaults are the best - beyond that, those settings would be dependent upon your situation (what you are trying to listen to and any reception problems you may be experiencing).

Looks to me like your query was answered by troymail. You might benefit by looking at the "IMPORTANT" notice on the Extended Settings tab in Win500.

There are really no best settings. Just have to experiment with it, best suggestion on anything you adjust go in small increments.

Good thing to read if you have not yet is the easier to read manual.

As already suggested, your best settings are usually the defaults. Nobody but somebody operating your scanner in your location can tell what the best settings for any particular situation are otherwise.

The "best" settings for someone else could possibly be the very worst settings for your situation. If there was 1 best setting for all situations, the settings wouldn't be adjustable.

Your experimentation in your location, with your equipment, and your local conditions... will give you your best settings.
