Hay you know i found out that those Radio shack snortwave antennas realy work great added with 6 ft of 1/2 in copper plunning pipe with caps and 7 ft of solid aluminum ground pole all attached by copper wire. it increses HF reception DRASTICALLY! 8)

Yeah, and it would work just as well with a few feet of wire. Leave the plumbing to the plumber, you're an SWL and should be tinkering with antennas, not pipes unless you're grounding something to one.
