R8600 Ground screw?

My ground screw on my R8600 has gone MIA. Does anyone know offhand the metric pitch / proper length of the screw?

Don't use mine. Maybe I should? Can only connect it to a copper radiator pipe which then goes into plastic piping - so guess water in the pipes would become earth? Does it make a difference to reception if you connect the screw to earth?

Does the screw fully remove? If so, I'll remove mine and measure it with a caliper.

(... by the way, you could always email Icom? You'd think they'd know?)

shockingly enough, I found mine. it had of course fallen into a small cardboard box under my desk. Best I could find is that it's M2.6 x 6mm

not a very common size.
