BCD396XT/BCD996XT: GROUPING TALK GROUPS

A friend of mine has a Uniden 996XT scanner and would like to group agencies together, like a scan list for each agency.
(i.e. city police, county sheriff, fire dept., etc.)
Can anyone advise how this can be done on this scanner?

The easiest way to do this is by using Quick Keys to toggle things on and off.

Most are analog but there is one trunked radio system, the TACN.

Or duplicate the system info but only use the TG you want to hear. Kind of like making a scan bank. You can also do the same thing by just placing all the grouped TG into one department. Like making a scan list.
