Excellent in my opinion! Never had any problems. Got a product once that was not as described in the catalog (was missing the BNC connector)...they replaced it with the correct item very quickly and with a very friendly attitude. Great communication too!!

Personally, I think their prices are too high on a few products. Be sure to compare with other companies prices before you buy from there.

I've always been very satisfied dealing with Grove. They've been in the business for a very long time. Bob Grove, and his staff are very knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous! Be sure to keep an eye on Bob's Bargain Bin too!

For those of you that aren't familiar with Grove, it's the home of Monitoring Time Magazine too!

High Prices.......even on beavers and beaver parts and beaver accessories. Even on used beavers. You can get previously owned beavers on Ebay cheaper than you can at Grove.......tsk tsk tsk.....shameful !

Grove offers one thing that's hard to find in most online retailers, Customer Service. I've bought several radios from them and their staff is very knowledgable and helpfull. They return calls and emails very quickly if they are not immediately available. Grove is a class act in my opinion.

Grove is a great place to buy from. I purchase most of my stuff through them and Universal.
My only complaint is that they are on the east coast, so I have to wait a week for my product to arrive :)

I have purchased radios and equipment from Grove, Universal, C. Crane, 123Radios, and Ham Radio Outlet and can recommend them all. Some have better prices or selection on certain items but they all have good to excellent service in my experience. HRO seems to have the fastest delivery, at least in my location (I received my Yeasu VX-7R 2 days after order for $307 + free shipping :D ). Beat that!

I have bought several items from Grove in the past 15 yrs and NEVER had a problem with them .
Yes they may cost 5 or 10 dollars more but its worth it to me to know if something goes wrong it will be taken care of .

This sums it up nicely. I've been a Grove customer for years and the above speaks volumes.

The customer service aspect of the Grove group more than makes up for the few extra dollars they charge. As others have noted, if you have a problem with a product- they back it up 100%

Yes, actually their offers are fair, and reasonable. Keep in mind, they're not going to give you what you might get from an end user. What ever Grove buys, he has to be able to re-sell, with some level of profit.

Good service=loyal customers. I, and most of the previous posters, had wonderful, friendly, and courteous service form Grove. You can feel the loyalty.

Better Than Most; Not as Good as Some

Pretty much as stated, Grove is very good. The prices are usually reasonable, sometimes a bit higher than you might find elsewhere. They have an adequate variety and are extremely knowledgeable and seasoned communications experts. As someone posted, Bob Grove, a long time HAM, and his group at Grove Enterprises are the ones that bring you Monitoring Times. I emailed them a question on why they decided to stop selling certain RS/GRE scanners and I got a response in just a day or two.

Another good company is Communications Electronics, Inc. (http://www.usascan.com/). They have a very large variety of communications equipment and accessories at low prices. For example, they have the lowest price I could find on a Uniden BCD-396T, at $519.99 INCLUDING shipping (http://www.usascan.com/files/bcd396T.cfm). I would classify them as a "professional communications equipment" dealer.

Another place I shop is at a local communications shop in Culver City (West LA), CA, but well know regionally: Jun's Electronics (http://www.juns.com/). These guys do great radio mods and have a large selection of consignment items, both new and used.
