grundig satellit 700 repair

Hello

Anyone know about or had this issue ?
i have a Grundig Sat700 that dropped !!! daughter pcb cracked slightly and upon opening i found a loose IN5818 diode floating loose in case !!!!!!!.. No sign of where it came or where it should go if anywhere. Does not look like its been soldered at all ???? is it possible its a spare or replacement ?
Radio not yet repaired ( pcb crack glued and 2 tracks repaired ) so unsure if it works yet

anyone help ?

Hopefully the PCB isn't a multi-layer board. I wouldn't think so given the age of the product. Not sure about the diode -- I don't see it listed in the service manual.

Hi,

My Satellit 700 no longer receives FM (dead). MW & SW are nothing but noise/static. I am not ready to give up on this radio.

I am looking for someone who can repair/restore the unit.

I am open to suggestions or recommendations.
