GSP posting error

Ever who posted 154.800 for GSP in the database needs to correct it. They havent used that freq in over two years.

Greetings from Lagrange, Georgia!!

With all due respect, the Georgia State Patrol does use 154.800-Mhz. That is our car to base frequency. The trooper posts transmit on 154.680.

Thanks for posting what appeared to be an error. Please be assured, it remains active and is used daily.

Also.....Ga State Patrol is simplex statewide. GSP cars will only be received if in range of your scanner.

GSP is not the Ga State Police---- It's the GSP Airport at Greer. I am aware of the Ga mobile freq for the past 30 years. GSPI airport at Greer dropped 154.800 about two years ago for another VHF freq. I posted the error in such a manor that the person would look up the correct freq and repost. We also have a town named Marietta near Greenville. I hope no one trys to correct that. They only got one [1] freq.

I apologize!

As soon as I read your note, I popped myself on the forehead.

I travel that area on business every 6-weeks or so. I always get amused when I see GSP up there for Greenville-Spartanburg recalling Georia State Patrol. And then your post had 154.800 in there....and off I went.
