I am looking for guidance on finding/creating amatuer radio favorite lists for repeaters (not the simplex frequencies). I am doing this because I can't find the repeaters in the RR main db. Are they there and I simply don't know where to look? Or am I correct and they are not there and I do need to figure out a way to create them myself?
History:
If you scan the full database for the ham service type the repeaters do not search muchA number of years ago I found hpe files for amatuer radio repeaters throughout the country. They were split up by region of the country then by state and then town the repeater was located in with location data. I travel 100% of the time and use these all the time with my SDS100/BCD436 gps attached. These tend to change over time. I am now looking at the FLs and I am missing a lot compared to a simple query out of Chirp and Repeaterbook.
So I started to look at what is in RR db for ham frequencies and find next to nothing. So I am thinking the repeaters at not in the db and I want to try and figure out how to create favorite lists myself. The main reason is I cannot find where I got those original hpe files from so see if that person was updating them.
TIA
Example of existing FL:

Since the database is compiled on a volunteer basis, and ham frequencies take a back seat in popularity, they may not be listed because no one has submitted them. But there are ham repeater directories available. For example, the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) sells and updates yearly a directory of all amateur radio frequencies for all ham bands.

Thanks for the info on how it gets into RR.
Getting the data is not really the problem. Chirp can query multiple sources and give me a list. Getting that into a FL for Sentinel is the bigger problem.
Is there a way to import this into Sentinel that I am not seeing? I know one can import a hpe file as a FL but how would one get it into the hpe format?

Export chirp to csv and then open that csv and manipulate it however you like. Then copy (data) from there and paste into Sentinel. Copy all the cells that have Name, and paste. Then do freqs and so on.

Or if you have @ProScan you can utilize the Get Clipboard feature which speeds up the whole process. You just copy the lines right in chirp, then go to Proscan and select the data you want.

Any and all Ham that's in the database is often in County level and can be seen and downloaded in Sentinel even without a subscription to rr.

Proscan, Freescan, Butel etc all require a subscription.

Ahhhh, that helps even more. I never went to check at the county level in Sentinel. I stopped at Nationwide so there may be less missing than I thought.
And I wonder why in Ocean County they are breaking it up by band and then another line for County?
Also, the location is defined at the department name but I cannot actually see what they are using for the location. How is that defined or can it be seen in Sentinel?
Thanks again for all the help.

Keep in mind that the amateur radio entries, under each band & county shown, you'll see individual frequencies, both repeater and simplex. In your Favourites Lists you can edit out the frequencies you don't need, since you've said you're looking for repeaters.

Check Statewide for any ham entries, particularly far state and regional networks, as well.

Considering some hams have gone digital, you might find some in DMR, NXDN and P25. This makes the DMR and NXDN upgrades worth getting. Other digital systems not supported, unfortunately.

Be sure to check with your state's discussion forum to ask for more help on NJ repeaters!

Thanks. This is more a general question as I travel all over the country in an rv. I just happen to be in NJ now.
