You would think 32 div and 33 div would not be patched:eek: What happens if they get a shooting in 32 div and a shooting in 33 div?

Just points out Toronto police love to patched like 11div and 12 div.

------------
Police in North York are investigating two separate overnight shootings.

In the first alleged incident a woman was shot in the leg around 9:15pm Saturday at a high-rise on San Romanoway, near Jane and Finch.

Investigators scoured the area looking for suspects in the minutes that followed but there's no word of any arrests. The victim was rushed to hospital and her condition isn't known.

Shattered glass could be seen in the lobby of the building. At least three shots were fired, according to witnesses.

The second reported shooting happened in the Jane and Wilson area around 1:30am Sunday. Police said a bullet hit a 22nd floor window of a Chalkfarm Drive high-rise. Luckily, there were no injuries reported.

An early morning stabbing in North York has left one man in hospital and police searching for suspects.

Officers said the victim was attacked just after midnight Friday, about a block east of Mel Lastman Square.

The victim suffered stab wounds to the back, chest and head and was taken to hospital for emergency treatment.

Authorities are looking for six or seven suspects who ran from the scene and are urging witnesses to come forward.

If you saw what happened, call 32 Division at (416) 808-3200 or Crime Stoppers at (416) 222-TIPS.

I'm betting a seasoned dispatcher would handle both incidents with relative ease, and make themself a peanut butter sandwich, too. In fact, I'm sure I read somewhere that the two international standard tests you must pass before becoming a dispatcher are:
(1) Walk, talk, and chew gum at the same time &
(2) Pat your head while rubbing your tummy, bonus points for being able to jump up and down while you do.

Or, as Mike pointed out, they could also just unpatch the TGs

The only regular patch I've seen terminated on a semi-regular basis is 51 and 53 Division. I don't think I've ever seen 32/33 (or 11/12) unpatched. The only exception of course is when one goes into emergency - the patch is automatically stripped.

Once the initial dispatch is sent out, there's not a whole heck of a lot for the dispatcher to do at that point, so it is quite easy to run multiple calls at the same time and not miss anything.
