Ive about had it with the SDS200 most of you know my issues, but

now can get Troop-E data signal full scale and the word Data is there 90 Percent of the time, and it is going to the correct Data freq that is being used when GFA or Troop-E is active, the Voice Signal is no less then an S3 the audio is still choppy at best, I am starting to think I have a programming issue I am 95% sure its not a reception issue I just think for the money I paid for the scannner I need to get it to work correctly or its going back to uniden as a used item and ill get whatever i can for it, I have tried IFX on all of Troop-E's voice freqs- no help messed with all filter settings-no help I have used the stock antenna-no help, the antenna for 700/800 that scannermaster does help to bring up the signal but the audio is still horrible I am using an external bearcat speaker

My current setting all

CC-773.9312
Global filter is set to Auto
Site Filter is set to Wide Invert I have used all the other settings including off without much change to audio
IFX does not help
New Firmware was Downloaded this Morning at 330am

any suggestions? and sorry to be a pain in the ass about this radio and issue

Reverse your filter settings. Change your global auto filter to Normal. Global is the overall filter setting that all the frequencies are using. Auto filter doesn't work well on anything. Change each site to "Global". Leave IFX off on everything in the 700/800 frequencies.

And with that all that said, based on how you said "it got a little better with the 800 antenna", sounds like you're still not getting great reception. Don't go by the "bars". Use the RSSI signal to help you. You may have one voice frequency that is giving you fits.
You can manually go to each one, record the RSSI number and see if any of them are way below the others.

Did you import this system from the RR database or, did you load it manually? Just curious.
I'm "assuming" you're trying to listen to the Troup E simulcast, is this correct?

I am HOA can you recomend any mobile antennas I can use? I can get a gound plane kit off of amazone, but it does seem like a reception issue, because of he HOA I cant put any antennas outside, but I do have a window in my room with a table so i am thinking with the correct mobile antennna with a ground plan kit it may just work

In all the other threads you have posted these issues, you rarely say if any of the suggestions have worked or not worked. I suspect you may have an interference source and improving the antennas may well be improving the reception of the interference along with the target signal. If you had a handheld scanner (has to have 700, does not need to be good on Phase 2), I would suggest sitting on the CC and walking around the house with it. Wall warts, UPS's, solar panels, all can fill the spectrum with interference.
Have you used a cheap USB SDR? The spectrum displays can be a good help tracking/improving signal quality
You said you have messed with the filters, have you tried the Global filters as was suggested? That was a big differnece with both of my SDS200 radios

I am still experimenting with filters on both SDS100 (personal portable) and SDS200 (work vehicle).

After several attempts, I think I am closer to finding better combinations of the various filters.

So far, on the SDS200... I went with another forum member's recommendations as a base to start with.

For VHF and UHF: WIDE NORMAL

For AM band aircraft/aviation: WIDE INVERT

For P25 communications (mostly police in my area), set ATTENUATOR to ON

Global Auto Filter has been set to off.
I may still try flipping back and forth between OFF and NORMAL to see which has greatest positive impact over all.

So far, I have noticed big overall improvements with VHF. UHF and AM air bands.
I am able to pull in frequencies I was not receiving and the quality of air band communications was noticeable.

I may leave this combination (as outlined above) as my new baseline.

My plan is to continue to monitor all my desired lists and pick a town (I listen to a lot of towns) that seems to have remained quiet, then try a different filter for that department. Trying in order: WIDE NORMAL, NORMAL, WIDE INVERT or OFF

Once I feel I have the best I can get, I will re-download Favorites List filter settings from the scanner back to my Proscan.

A continual improvement process of trial and error.

I can confirm that settings used above have had the biggest positive impact on being able to draw more frequencies than default filter settings I had when I first started.
