Hi @KG7JWW

It looks like most of Clallam County is included in either:
  • Clallam (County) (conventional / non-trunked). This includes the county agencies as well as Joyce, Port Angeles, and Sequim
or

Take a look at those 2 pages in the RR database and let us know what else you are looking for. We'll do our best to help you find it in the database.

(This information below from @wtp is from Clallam (County).)

I did look at your county in the database, and I can see your frustration. There does seem a lot missing. I would also start with the FCC licenses as mentioned above. Enter each frequency Conventionally with tone search, as that seems most likely. Also, as of note, there appears to be a P25 Phase II trunking system for DOT and such.
Thank you! I don’t know how many of the members live in a rural area but our county encompasses a lot of rural area. My wife and I retired to this area because it’s a rainforest and away from the big city life we were used to. And all the negative comments to me don’t indicate that anyone looked at my specific area. I am very involved with emergency management and my friends include all of our local officials. I am currently one of the amateur radio operators helping our police chief build a communication trailer for our area of the county. My point was not that I don’t have access to information. My point is that the home page for this group made me assume that I was at a professional site and that by paying a fee I had access to a complete database that I could easily transfer. My mistake!

I'm here a lot
Your brusque attitude may be a turn off for any further assistance. Sorry that you are not getting the value you perceived. Good luck with your communication project.

Obviously you and some of the others don’t know how to respond and be polite and respectful. I am surprised at your poor attitude but that’s alright too! The home page says complete and it isn’t! That’s the simple truth so deal with it and good luck to you.

Respect does need to be a two way transaction and there was perceived hostility within your first post of accusations. I feel that you are arguing semantics in how the information you are looking for is presented.

All licensed frequencies in every county are available on this site. Maybe they haven't all been transcribed into the RR database, but links and downloadable pdf and excel csv files are available for every county. There are 27 pages of frequencies for Clallum co right here:

The OP needs to understand that members of this forum don't owe him anything. His sense of entitlement might work in his home life but not here. If he's unhappy with this site, he needs to consider it a lesson learned and move on and try to find another site that has what he needs.

It is best to understand how this website works. The most complete would be the FCC. However, licenses entities may or may not use the frequencies they are licensed for. All frequencies in RadioReference's Database has been verified to be in use. It is the most complete of verified information. This pales in comparison with other websites, which might be regurgitated FCC data, or may be quite far from complete.

Dear OP this site gets its confermed frequency data from members like yourself. The only data we have is from members posting data from their own areas.
Now being a paid full-time Government Employee I have access to all Department Radio information in my area as should you if you are helping your local county build a communication trailer. The attitude you receive is dependent on the attitude you give here in this site. Good Luck in your endeavors.

I live in Clallam County Washington, zip code 98331 and none of our municipalities show up.
Which specific municipalities are you missing?
We can't help if you don't answer our questions. If you give me a list of which municipalities you want to receive, I will do my best to find the information for you. What model scanner do you have? I have the ARC software for just about all of them.

My question has been answered. My error was that I thought the sight was a company since it's an LLC and it's the only reference from the ARC software that I purchased. I didn't know that this was an all volunteer operation that I paid a fee to. The information that is missing is at the portion of the page that shows up when you enter the county and it comes up with the municipalities and county resources. The license base that was not referred to in any way and that just had a tab does have the rest of the info, it's just not part of what I expected in the prepopulated area. Thanks for trying to help. I appreciate the time and consideration that you have given. I won't be corresponding any longer.

Thank you! The fire is the one that is tough since District 1 has overlaps that I was not aware of. I also found the LERN system that our sheriff uses and I will be trying that too.
Thanks again.

I believe I saw it listed in the Washington State listings and it's a new linking system. I say new since I am repeating what the guys from the sheriff's office were saying when we helped with an active shooter drill a couple of years ago. Anyway, the way I understand it is that this system somehow links other first responder or linked radio groups. I haven't spent any time with it for a couple of years so I will have to learn what it is formally and see if I can use it.

Sorry about the delay but there is a lot happening and I didn't get back to the mail until just now. I did look at the link and that's the one I saw in the data base and one that I hope will work when I finally get to programming my scanner again. I am currently waiting on delivery of a new cable for connection from the scanner to the computer. The one that comes with it was missing in action and when I finally found where I had stashed it I found that my computer doesn't have a port for it. So I had to order the USB cable which should arrive any day now.
On the LERN system conversation you kindled my memory of what they told us in the communication vehicle when we were participating in the active shooter drill. It was new then and they were having trouble getting it up and working. I think in the end they solved the operating issues, especially since we had a Coast Guard helicopter arrive as part of the exercise. So for right now everything is on hold again but once again I appreciate your help. I have dug out the frequencies that I think I will need and hopefully I will be able to input the trunked systems too. We have two prisons in the area where a lot of friends and neighbors work. My wife is retired from one of them and I still have one friend working on a program for inmates who are veterans. Some days too much volunteer time spent!
Thanks again!
