Not sure if any race comm's will be heard, but will add the Halifax marine freq to the scanner, just in case.

They may have their own radios. From the news clip last night it mentions Halifax was one of several ports.
Perhaps finding out the other ports on the list could help. You'd be able to check the database for these areas as temporary systems may have been posted and/or the local forums for the info your seeking. If you have Close Call in you scanner, that may assist you during the races.
