Hamilton going digital/encrypted?

been reading through this forum and heard mention that Hamilton police and fire may be swithching to digital soon, and police might even be fully encrypted??? Any one else hear about this ? or are there any "insiders" who could confirm this or have any info on the subject? thanks.MB.

Nope.. been talking about it for a long time.. its just a matter of time before all of the systems go P25.

They have an encrypted system that they rarely if ever use, The last time I ran Trunk88 on it there was one affiliation in one day.

The regular system is still up and running in the clear
