Has the Hamilton Twp police gone to encryption over the summer on F1 or F2 channels? Looking to buy a new scanner (digital) and would like to be sure HPD is still able to be heard. Also, what freq. are they on...last spring they were still on their old frequency. Thanks for any input.

Last time I was up that way they were digital but in the clear at least on channel 1.

those are not encrypted ..you could get a software defined radio such as a nooelec for $20. run sdr# and dsdplus. hear it that way. if they are still in the clear a year or two from now then get the $500 scanner
