Harlan County Public Safety (NXDN Trunked)

I have a BCD996P2 scanner and it has the NXDN upgrade. I have my scanner programmed with the radio reference website page on Harlan Counties NXDN System.

For some reason, I only hear a motor like sound or whatever you call it, on the system.

What could be causing this? I know it's not listed as encrypted on the database, so I am not sure what it could be.

This is a NXDN Trunked System did you set it up as Trunked or Conventional?
You also have to set the LCN's on each sites channels

Well, since I programmed directly with radioreference, should all of that information be in my scanner already? Or do I still have to do some of it manually?

Edit: I forgot to say that I did program it as trunked.

What Scanner Program did you use?
Did you look to see if the LCN's are listed in the scanner?
I have several scanners working on a NXDN TRUNKING SYSTEM. A screen copy and paste will not add the LCN's but a PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION and download with software does add the LCN's.
