Friday (28June13) after some storms passed through, I heard some traffic on the following: 156.1425 (94.8), 156.1725 (162.2), 158.730 (151.4) and 154.430 (91.5).
After checking I saw that 158.730 and 154.430 listed for Harris Co and that matched the traffic I was hearing. The traffic on 156.1425 and 156.1725 also matched the Harris Co traffic.
So are the 156 frequencies connected to Harris Co Fire? Since I live 2 counties over in Alabama, I normally don't hear Harris Co much but the storms caused some great reception on VHF, UHF and even 800.
I was receiving (handheld scanners only) from Birmingham to Columbus to Troy to Hale Co (west side of Alabama).
