Harrison county??

Found a c.c. for system 000Ah-0101 (853.4875). At first I thought it was tropo hearing Jackson Public Works however the freq. does not match . The freq is shown to be for Harrison county. Possibly new P25 system for Harrison?? Heard from roughly hancock to gautier on I-10.

This site has been up for at least 12 months but I never heard any activity on it. I believe I tracked it down to a tower next to the MHP district 8 office on Hwy 53 across from the coast pistol range.

I believe that the site is located in the Communications building by the corner of Cedar Lake Road and Popps Ferry road. I get a VERY strong signal when I am near there. I have heard traffic on it several times, all of them sound like radio checks from a radio maintenance shop. The talkgroups I've received so far are 64001, 64025, and 64053. The frequencies I've got are:

Ch Frequency
0-317 852.9875 CC
0-397 853.4875 SCC (secondary control channels)
0-437 853.7375 SCC
0-457 853.8625 SCC

I've been monitoring this system for over a year and was wondering if it's a depricated system or one that they are going to. The control channel runs continually, so you would think that they are going to do something with it?!? The ID I have for it is A00A-1.1. That's all I have for it.
