Is that the one they are going to be on
I really have no idea how they decide, but I would think they would go to WO since it is relatively close. If I hear stuff, is the only way I really ever know who is where. Not sure if there is some secret list of where departments will go.

Expect them to operate primarily on the West Orange simulcast cell, given their proximity to the Essex County Courthouse subsite. They will operate on whichever site(s)/cells provide coverage and they can affiliate with. Of course that's within reason, they're not going to pop up on the Cape May site.

I have yet to hear them on Essex System (WO Simulcast)...
I programmed them into my 996P2 last night and monitored for a bit but heard nothing. PD still active on VHF and same with FD on UHF. I programmed the West Orange site for the meantime to see how it works.

I suspect that they're not yet active on those talkgroups. Stay tuned.

The CONFIRMED talkgroups are already in the database, per my previous post.

Harrison does not have any hardware in yet, my source also tells me there is no timeline when they will be going to the State System. There UHF Fire Radio system and Police are still very active. Harrison Police VHF system has the RWJ medics call in on that system since the medics do not have UHF Radios in 32-46 or -32-47. Hope that helps.

He's referring to the NJICS, the NJ statewide P25 trunked system.

It looks to me they went live at 10am today July 1.

As of now in the clear. The DB has the information already if you need it.

Site 1. West Orange. Using RID 904xxx
