I want to make a favorites list for my SDS 100 and my Uniden 436HP for the Harry Reid International airport. for the SNACC trunked system can I get by with just putting in the Las Vegas simulcast site?

Depending on where you are yes. I run mainly just the Las Vegas Simulcast Site for scanning. I’d recommend adding Potosi, Angel, Arden, and all the others and just doing an avoid on them and unavoiding as needed.

Just so you know your 436HP wont do so good on Simulcast, but your SDS100 will do great.
I have a favorites list in my SDS100 for when I’m at LAS. The only site in that list is LV Simulcast and I hear plenty of traffic on it.
I was mostly going to put the AM aircraft frequencies in the 436HP and the trunked systems in the SDS100.
Why not put them all on the SDS100?
Really I am going to put them in both. I will be out in Vegas on Vacation in February and am going to monitor primarily Fire/EMS and a few casino's that we will be staying at. I am going to put P25 on the DSD 100 and DMR and Conventional for the 436. I figured I would make a Hairy Reid favorites group for both of the radio's and I can play with them both and see witch one does better why we have some down time at the airport waiting to catch our flight. I am planning on using a small stubby antenna and headphones at the airport.
