I never thought about the Band Plan until @RMason brought it up, since I never adjust mine. The Band Plan I copied and pasted was from a site on Illinois Starcom (Site 1-002 Cook County), that uses one of the same control channel frequencies, so I thought I'd give it a shot?

@DurangoPursuit2019 ..prior to downloading this file, delete the old one I sent in both the computer and on Sentinel to avoid conflicts.
IT WORKED

Good news on @werinshades got a programming file that works, including the band plan - the StarComm one he used is pretty standard for a 700 / 800 Motorola P25 system, excepting the entries for the 450 MHz UHF band - a local mod.

For P25 systems, the SDS *should* download the band plan from the control channel stream. On my SDS radios, I have never entered band plan info for P25 systems. I looked in Sentinel, and the band plan data for my systems are set to all zeros, so the radio must be downloading the data automatically. Perhaps if someone entered band plan info that is not all zeros, the radio assumes it is a custom band plan and ignores what is coming from the control channel?? IDK.

I've never had to manually program a band plan in the past either. When it wasmentioned, and I looked at the band plan, I thought "that doesn't seem right.". As it was mentioned, I checked a Starcom 700 mhz. site's band plan, copied and pasted it in, and the rest is history.

Now the question is, how/why did the data channel send out this non-working band plan?

Copy and paste the Lee County site bandplan back into the Beaverdale site and try it. If it doesn't, reload the updated favorite list I sent. Mess around with it a bit and see what happens.
