Has anyone here ever used a harvest antenna ? Any opinions good or bad ?

These antennas of this style are basically a 22 foot or so tube with a balun at the base. Tuning is accomplished by an antenna tuner. The balun is to make the antenna feed point more likeable to the transmitter.
I ordered one of these myself basically for the same reason. The construction looks about the same for the different models, and you could be the CB equivalent base antenna up to a few years ago and rework the base yourself with a balun. The balun power capacity is the only limiting factor.
