They also might get away with shaving some of the rubber off the bottom of the connector.

Not optimal, but doable. It can be done in a pinch, as long as the metal part is smaller than or the same size as the ID of the antenna female socket.

Yep, cut off 2.5mm of rubber. Mentioned this earlier. You are on track. Just run a razor blade around it up 2.5mm. I would try that.

Ok so update. I received the remtronix 920s and it's working fine. I think I may have got sent the wrong stock antenna maybe as a few mentioned. Not sure. All I know is the reason works thank God! I did try and trim off some of the bottom of the stock antenna with something sharp but that plastic is tough! Thank you all for the help I really appreciate it!
