I saw a new sys ID show up. L12. The frequency I captured it on is 462.7375 which would be a Fleet Connect Toronto site control channel. The neighbour list is suspiciously familiar to the Connect Plus sys ID 158

Check out the towers near you and see if you notice a change from Connect Plus to TIII nonStd [Auto] MOT.

Yes, the Connect Plus system is slowly changing over to T3
Looks like frequencies and sites haven't changed. Been monitoring this for the past two months in Essex/Chatham-Kent. A couple sites are showing peer sites, but they haven't came online yet. Such as Dutton and Lambton.

So far, just about all the transmissions have been encrypted traffic other then one user who hasn't been very chatty as of yet. All of Essex County Fire Dept's (other then Pelee Island and Kingsville) have changed over already.

I've got a road trip coming up. I was going to check all the sites from Windsor to Peterborough and see if any others have changed over.

Toronto back to CON + on 451.5125 and no signal on 462.7375. Control Channel for Toronto site 12 is 1. Site 13 King City is TIII nonStd today on LSN 2603 on 460.1125.

Nothing on the sites in Perth, Huron or Middlesex. If they are transitioning, I suspect Muxlow is correct. It's a slow phased change over.

LaSalle and Amherstburg haven't changed over yet, but they are showing as peer sites to a couple Essex County sites.
Dutton, Sarnia and London same thing, showing as a peer site to Chatham but says CC-1 for all these sites. So, take that as it's in the list, but not active type deal.

What kind of talkgroups you seeing down your way?

Nothing whatsoever. I periodically check to try and grab LSN's for Prairie-Turbo on frequencies from 450 to 465 MHz. Toronto is back to Cap+. King City is TIII.

One odd thing, on the King City neighbour list, it shows Toronto site with Blackstock's 453.4125. Tuning to 453.4125 brings up Blackstock's Cap+ site number.

I don't know how true this is, but apparently somebody in the know in one of the Indiana forums indicated in the past that Capacity Max has the ability to work alongside Cap+ and Con+ during transition. The guy mentioned that a control channel can show as a TIII CAPMAX control channel one moment and a Con+ control channel the next, switching as needed. Sounds groovy. Is it absolute fact? I cannot say. But that might explain why you see various control channel freqs as TIII one minute, and Con+ or Cap+ the next.

Here is where the guy talked about it: New ERS Tier 3 system

Seen that same group active off the windsor site this morning

RID 9783 - MSO 783
RID 9012 - ETR 255-25
RID 9251 - ETR 253-25
RID 9732 - 9V2657

Seen 9801-9806 active off the windsor site using KEY ID 7 on all the groups. Talker alias is in heavy use if youv got voice following and follow encrypted traffic enabled should start seeing alias come up

I'm going to say that 9802 is a road maintenance crew for the ETR. Googled 407 ETR vehicle and the unit number on the trucks match the talker alias I've seen. If you want to toss that into the DB.
