Maybe it's my age and the era I grew up in, but dang, I really miss that wood grain look that was on so many products.



I would have probably bought an SDS200 if the case looked a little bit more classy as it would match the wood in the den and not just be another "black blob".

In the late 1930s, Ford painted woodgrain onto the steel dashboards of some of their cars. See the linked article for a photo. I doubt that the dashboard in the photo is original, though.

I had a Lafayette Comstat 25A and it had some wear on the panel around the channel selector so a bit of woodgrain went across that section of the front.
