Have a blinking "DSP comm res:04 " message

Was blinking on my screen as my PSR-800 screen was "tumbling" thru the "activated" scanlists, and also appeared when I activated the NOAA "instant Weather button" and marched thru the 7 frequencies, with the squelch open. Any explanation is most appreciated.
