I’ll be in Sonoma County in a couple weeks and looking for a repeater that works in the title areas. I know about Repeater Book, but there’s a few choices and I’m looking for some local knowledge for one with the best coverage and that’s open. I’m thinking maybe Mr St Helena?

TIA

Ask in the California forum. There, you'll likely get user info on what is in operation, what isn't, and what would work best for your circumstances.

To the two people who suggested posting this request in the California forum, while this is a good question for a Cali forum, posting the same question in two forums is known as cross-posting which is strongly discouraged at RadioReference.

The proper approach is for the OP to Report the thread so the moderators can move it...which I have done.

The OP does not state if he is looking for an Amateur Radio repeater or a GMRS repeater. So, I guess he's more than likely looking for an Amateur Radio repeater.

What that being said, there is a GMRS repeater overlooking Calistoga and looks at Santa Rosa, but not sure if it will cover St Helena.

Thread was originally posted in an Amateur Radio forum, but that's not guarantee of his intent.

THANKS AK9R...I knew there was a procedure for moving a thread, it just wasn't being recalled in my foggy brain.
