HEB New Radios LTE?

I noticed over the past couple of weeks that many HEB stores in Bexar County were using new Motorola radios. I couldn't tell what type they are, but they look like the TLK series LTE, which uses Motorola's Wave network. Or the SL300 series, which is just standard UHF. The antennas are very short, shorter than the LTE ones on the TLK series. From what I could hear, the transmissions didn't sound digital. I didn't know if anyone had pinned down what they are using lately. Some stores were using FRS/GMRS channels for a while.
