HELP-any info on IC-25RA

HELP-any info on IC-2SRA

Have a chance to pick up a IC-2SRA.....Dont know much about this units.Any idea of the worth of one of these?Are they still up to the task?
They want $200.00 is that good bad or??

My first handheld Icom was the Icom 2SRA (that's an S, not a 5). It's an okay 2m handheld with an IC-R1 stapled onto the right hand side - it's got unblocked 800 (which is nigh useless anyways), but it was too ahead of its time - the antenna connectors go out on them, on the RX side, and it's a stereo 1/8" jack so it's problematic to fix. It's a great collector radio, but not so good for everyday use.

I'd give $100, $125 for one these days, but you're better off putting your $200 into a P7A or a used 91ad. Much more modern, more memories, a logical bank layout (no banks on the 2SRA), and better construction.
