I posted here some issues trying to get TeamSpeak2.0 to work.

http://www.radioreference.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85079

I think I figured something out...

even though I have local Admin rights on the PC, under McAffe VirusScan Console there is Access Protection tab that when I click on is greyed out. It says there are 10 port blocking rules established but I cant even scroll to see what they are.

Anyone know how to bypass this or maybe there is a registery setting that would unblock acess to make changes? Perhaps a process I can kill in Task Manager?

Please help, I want to listen to TeamSpeak2.0

Thanks in advance,

You should not be running an enterprise application on a home computer, esp when you do not even know how to administer it correctly. Chances are your viral defs are not getting updates so it is not doing you any good anyway.

Uninstall all of your McAfee programs and get AVG from:

Thanks for the insult.

Obviously I am technical enough to know that there may be a 1 or 0 I can flop in a registry setting that may (or may not) allow me to temporarily access what I need.

Is it a work computer? If it is, and a network administrator installed McAfee, I would talk to them first.

Yes, its a work computer, the other post I referenced clearly stated this.

Tell the Network Admin of a huge place that I want to be able to run a non-standard program they've never authorized and its in order to receive streaming media... ROTFLMAO!!!

Come on, anyone have some real advise that might help me get around whats locked down???

Your welcome ... I guess.

Clearly, not technical enough to know that enterprise applications generally do not set policy via the registry on a local machine.

Yes, sort of. Bring your own laptop to work with a broadband card and listen all you want to teamspeak.

Use your employer provided workstation for what it is intended purpose is .. work.
