Help needed for O'Fallon, MO

I am moving to O'Fallon, MO and need help with what type of scanner I will need for St. Charles county and O'Fallon stations. I have been in the hobby for a long time but I have lived in small towns that do not use the trunked systems so it is all new to me.

St. Charles County and O'Fallon appear to be conventional. St. Charles City is a Motorola analog (Type 2) trunked system.

A Uniden BC246T would handle it all if you wanted to include the trunked system.

I believe that St. Charles City is using digitial voice on their Motorola Type II system. Maybe somebody nearby can confirm this.

St. Charles is using a Motorola Type II trunked system with P25 digital voice. There may also be analog voice, but I haven't heard any.

Also St. Peters is using an analog trunked system.

O'Fallon appears to be conventional, but I have not monitored it.

O'Fallon and Lake St. Louis is conventional, St. Peters is Type II, Wentzville is VHF.
