Help needed!!!? My scanner is setup thru sentinel but when I listen to frequencies I only get maybe 3 or 4 frequencies coming in…

only getting about 3-4 frequencies that come in. I have tried 4 new antennas and running out of ideas. The latest antenna is remtronix 820s. I live in New Haven County i Connecticut. Any ideas would be helpful

What specific agencies / frequencies are coming in & which are you having trouble with? Specific info helps us help you troubleshoot. Numerous possibilities but would rather be armed with pertinent info to get a clear picture before drawing conclusions. Post RRDB link(s)

If you are trying to listen to Meriden PD they are encrypted.

Interesting they left PD 2 partially encrypted when all other channels are full "E"

Is your squelch set to 2? That's where it should be set. Are you trying to listen to Public Safety or what. What cities are you wanting to receive? Do you have the service types turned on for what you are wanting? Did you use software or manually program?

If you are trying to listen to Meriden PD they are encrypted.

I am at squelch 2…I’m trying to get Middlesex County. Serviced types are on. Scanner Doctor programmed for me. I know Meriden of is encrypted. I get some 800 and some lower frequencies. But it amounts to 4 frequencies I can hear.

can’t get lower and some
Upper frequencies. I only get Wallingford, meriden fire. I have Middlesex county programmed in but can’t get anything.

Export your program file to a .hpe file, then zip it up and post it here so someone can take a look at it and try to figure out the problem.
