Hi Forum,
Wonder if someone can help please ?
I have a TRX-1 Handheld which serves me well and has done for a few years now. I use mine in a real basic way compared to what its capable of :

1. I tend to use the Limit search facility by picking a lower and upper search range and stick with that for a week or so , then move up or down the band and start again.
2. I use Scan Group 1 (or the 1st scan bank in the list) and store all of my spot frequencies in that group , vhf/uhf in no order really.

Now I know I might be missing the potential of the radio , but that's me !!!
So the issue is as mentioned above I have about 50 spot frequencies in the scan group - however a few weeks ago whilst on TDY for the US Airforce )UK Firefighter attached to USAF in the UK) I was in Washington State and with scanner in hand I used the Whistler internal database, found Washington State and imported into my scan group 1.
So now I have my 50 uk spot frequencies BUT also a huge load of WA frequencies that I no longer need , how do I easily delete these leaving my UK freqs as they were before ?
When I went through the scan group one by one it seemed the freqs were all combined , my UK and the USA freqs together in no particular order that I could see.
Is there an easy way to revert back to 3 weeks ago , a bit like system restore on a pc ?!!!
Please bear in mind I have never hooked my Whistler to my computer since day 1 (the dealer did once in store to update radio/database)
Thanks in advance - If it means going through each channel and deleting ne by one then that's fine. I'm on night duty this weekend so have plenty of free time I hope !!!!

Kind regards, Kevin (USAF Mildenhall Fire Department , England)

Kevin, if you can hook it to the computer and use EZScan, The conventional frequencies will have a numerical numbering sequence to the Left side. If you had 50 frequencies from the uk, then added more from washington, the first 50 will be your uk frequencies. You can change the Scanlist for everything after that to Scanlist 2 and leave them, or while using EZScan, just highlight all past 50, and Delete.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks so much for the replies really appreciate it -think I will try the EZScan option , it's about time I connected the Whistler to a pc.
Might find sme other useful things in EZScan aswell.
Wackyracer , thanks for your suggestion - If the pc option fails I will certainly try yours !!
Thanks again,
Be safe,
Kevin (East Of England - USAF Mildenhall)
