DSDPlus Help Tuning DSD+ on VIPER

I’ve got dsd plus running with p25 viper. These are my screenshots from the program. I know my gain is way too high. However, if I go down 1-2 ticks, I get a lot of errs or crc entries in my run log. Do I just need a better signal? What can I do to make things better?

This is the most current/utd fast lane version.

Just coming down 2 clicks from there and then errors would hint either the system is far away or your antenna is not that great and or struggling to obtain a better signal. What kind of antenna and where is it located?

I’ll take pictures this afternoon. It’s got to be an antenna issue. It’s a 3’ Wilson antenna and its base is about 9’ up. I do pick up traffic with it. I’ve also got a ground plane that’s in the attic at about 25’ and ran to an sds100 and it seems to do fine. I may make another ground plane and see if I can get it a little higher in the air.
