Help with JWX (wefax decoder)

I downloaded JWX for Windows (11) and when I ran it I got error message saying I need to download JAVA. So I downloaded the Java 8 update. So now when I click on JWX to run it VERY briefly starts then crashes. Can't figure it out. Runs perfectly on Linux (MX).

You're probably better off posting this on the Utility DXers Forum on groups.io. You're more likely to find folks that can help diagnose the issue there

I've never heard of JWX, where can you get it? There's a lot of old FAX decoders out thre, is this new?

Not sure if you've got this resolved yet, but-

There is a .bat file that actually starts the program. It's in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\JWX" folder. I just made a shortcut on my desktop, and it starts and runs fine.
It's not exactly a new program, I've been using it for a couple of years to decode from Pt. Reyes and it works well.
