Help With Programming MERA on BC996

here's an issue I have. It sounds like the CC is being hear while in trunking mode for about a second then it goes away OR I hear it for a second followed by voice traffic.. It's as if the scanner isn't converting the CC fast enough into the actual voice traffic? Do I need to change something in the settings?

Yes, all fire traffic can be heard on the east simulcast.

Sometimes the scanner takes a second for the digital decode to kick in. Do you have a 996T or 996XT? If you have a 996XT, you can set talkgroups as "Digital Only" and it will solve the problem.
