help with registering scanner

trying to register my 436 on myuniden i have typed esn in several times getting error messeges , its telling me checksum is ok , i have typed in the last nine digets as instructed it tells me to go back and re enter i am aware that the serial # on the back is diffrent from the electronic one

key number is there but still unable to get serial # to take error message states i need to imput 8 digit number next time it states a 9 digit number must be put in

Type the whole ESN when you register it, then it asks for the last 9. Type in the last 9 numbers of the ESN in the ESN block, drop down to the next block and tripe in your checksum #.

thank you for replying had no problem with registering my other ones but this one seems to ne fighting me for some reason , likely all me

happy to hear it, its amazing what a couple days from a pain in the butt situation can do, especially to reset the mind.

So the solution is to delete the scanner entry from the my.uniden.com website and try it all over from the beginning.
